Il Parlamento Europeo ospiterà nei giorni 8 e 9 Aprile una conferenza intitolata:
“Oltre le teorie di modificazione climatica- la società civile contro la geoingegneria”
(Rue Wiertz , 60 Altiero Spinelli, ASP 1G3 dalle 9 alle 10,30. A seguire si terrà una conferenza stampa aperta ai corrispondenti accreditati. La sera prima, alle 18:30 vi sarà, nella stessa aula, la proiezione del documentario “Why in the World they are Spraying” del regista Michael Murphy. )
La conferenza è promossa da organizzazioni internazionali della società civile, raccolte attorno a “Skyguards”, in collaborazione con Alternativa-Laboratorio politico, e patrocinata dai gruppi parlamentari The Greens/European free Alliance e Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
Il punto di partenza è riprendere il lavoro che fu impostato nel 1998 e che condusse all’approvazione – da parte della Commissione Affari Esteri, Sicurezza e Politiche di Difesa del Parlamento Europeo – il 14 Gennaio 1999, di una risoluzione in materia di ambiente e sicurezza a firma della relatrice Maj Britt Theorin.
Quella risoluzione è rimasta lettera morta sebbene già allora essa avesse richiesto di sottoporre a accurata verifica gli esperimenti militari in corso nell’atmosfera; sebbene avesse posto il problema della tutale della salute delle popolazioni e dell’ambiente; sebbene avesse evidenziato la necessità di dare ai cittadini gli strumenti essenziali per conoscere scopi, dimensioni e significato degli esperimenti che si compivano sulle loro teste.
Da allora nessuna trasparenza è stata adottata. Ciò sebbene sia ormai evidente che l’atmosfera terrestre è divenuta sede di esperimenti che attentano alla salute pubblica con irrorazioni clandestine di aerosol di cui non si conoscono né composizione, né scopi; sebbene ricerche militari sempre più sofisticate si effettuino senza tenere nel minimo conto i più elementari principi di precauzione; sebbene nuovi sistemi di armamenti siano ormai centrati sull’uso militare della ionosfera e degli strati più alti della atmosfera (vedi il famigerato progetto HAARP).
Non siamo più di fronte a denunce generiche. Vi è la prova del dolo. Coperta dal segreto. E dalla complicità delle istituzioni che democratiche che colludono con chi cerca di sapere, e che negano ogni cosa. Dunque gli organizzatori chiedono che quella risoluzione venga non solo attuata, ma sia aggiornata alla luce dei gravissimi elementi a disposizione.
Per questo esiste uno strumento giuridico : una commissione parlamentare straordinaria d’inchiesta. Il Parlamento Europeo dispone di un tale strumento ed è necessario che ora ne faccia uso con la massima sollecitudine. Le organizzazioni promotrici dell’incontro ringraziano i gruppi parlamentari che lo hanno sponsorizzato. Chiedono che la loro richiesta venga portata all’esame della Presidenza del Parlamento. Chiedono che si apra un dibattito pubblico che coinvolga la società civile, e dunque chiedono di essere consultate in modo da poter esibire prove e testimonianze di ciò che sta accadendo.
Per quanto ci riguarda faremo tutto quanto è in nostro potere per sollevare l’attenzione dell’opinione pubblica europea di fronte alle violazioni dei principi europei, di fronte alle minacce all’ambiente e alla salute dei cittadini, di fronte al silenzio che copre complicità assai gravi, di ordine legale e penale. Non è più accettabile il silenzio.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 29, 2013 - BRUSSELS, Brussels Capital, Belgium -- (Rue Wiertz , 60 Altiero Spinelli, ASP 1G3 from 9.00 to 10.30 a.m. ) Afterwards there will be a press conference open to accredited correspondents. The previous evening at 6.30 p.m. in the same room there will be a screening of the documentary “Why in the world are they Spraying?” by the American director Michael Murphy.
The conference has been promoted by civil society organizations grouped together in the international platform “Skyguards”, in collaboration with the Alternative-Political Laboratory, and patronized by the parliamentary groups The Greens | European Free Alliance and Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
The objective is to resume the work commenced in 1998, by the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defense Policy of the European Parliament, culminating in the adoption of a proposal for a resolution “On the Environment, Security and Foreign Policy”, on 14th of January 1999 , with Mrs. Maj Britt Theorin as rapporteur.
This resolution has been ignored, in spite of the fact that it demanded detailed investigation of its conclusions on military experiments being carried out in the atmosphere; in spite of the fact that it put forward the need for protection of the population, public health and environment; in spite of the fact that it underlined the need for citizens to be provided with the means for discovering the purpose, scope and meaning of the experiments being conducted over their heads.
Since that time no measures of transparency have been adopted. Even in the face of evidence that the Earth’s atmosphere has become the site for experiments threatening public health: clandestine aerosol sprayings of substances of unknown composition and for secret purposes; in spite of the fact that ever more sophisticated military research is taking place in disregard of the most elementary precautionary principles; in spite of the fact that the new weapons systems focus on military utilization of the ionosphere and the upper parts of the atmosphere (as in the case of the HAARP project).
These are not vague complaints. There is proof of fraud, enshrouded in secrecy. And of the compliance of putatively democratic institutions that launch attacks and cast aspersions on those who want to be informed, issuing blanket denials. The organizers are demanding that the resolution of 14th January 1999 be implemented, and updated, given the amount of documentation in existence today underlining the seriousness of this matter.
The European Parliament has at its disposal the juridical instrument of the extraordinary parliamentary investigative committee. It is essential that this be employed without any further delay. The promoters of the initiative express their gratitude to the parliamentary groups that have patronized the event. They also demand that the proposal be taken to the Presidency of the European Parliament to be examined. They demand that a public debate be opened in which civil society must participate, and in this connection ask to be consulted in order to submit evidence and proof of what is happening.
For our part, we will do all we possibly can to call the attention of European public opinion to this violation of European principles, this aggression against the environment and the health of citizens, and to the silence of complicity in the concealment of extremely serious wrongdoing, entailing legal and penal responsibilities. Silence is unacceptable.
